ZAC STUART-PONTIER is a filmmaker, journalist, and podcaster. 

He won two Emmys for HBO’s “THE JINX,” directed by Andrew Jarecki as Co-Executive Producer and Editor; he was also a writer on the show. “THE JINX” was awarded a Peabody Award and the Outstanding Miniseries by the Television Critics Association. 

Other TV credits include the Emmy-nominated “Q: INTO THE STORM,” Executive Produced by Adam McKay, and "WITNESS," Executive Produced by Michael Mann. Zac was also nominated for two Emmy Awards as the Executive Producer and the Writer of THE JINX: PART 2.

ZAC has created many award-winning podcast series, including Gimlet’s CRIMETOWN, THE RFK TAPES, and Spotify’s NOT PAST IT. He was the Executive Producer and Editor of the Ambie award-winning podcast BEYOND ALL REPAIR (WBUR), currently in development as a TV show.

ZAC was a producer on the documentaries "CATFISH" (Sundance), "BEAUTIFUL DARLING" (Berlinale), and “MARKIE IN MILWAUKEE" (Slamdance). Selected film editing credits include THE NEW YORKER AT 100 (Telluride 2025), BLEED FOR THIS (Telluride 2016), MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE (Sundance Best Director, 2011) and SIMON KILLER (Sundance, 2012).

He was recently the consulting editor on THE ALABAMA SOLUTION (HBO, Oscar Shortlist 2025) and is currently the Director and Executive Producer of a three-part documentary series about Claus von Bulow (Netflix) now in production.
